Skills for Future Jobs five-year plan
The State’s Training and Skills Commission released its 2014 Skills for Future Jobs plan for skills and workforce development in South Australia on Thursday 11 December 2014 at the Commission's forum in Adelaide.
The Commission’s advice in the 2014 plan outlines recommendations to ensure vocational education and training sector policy meets the needs of industry and the economy.
The Commission’s plan indicates health care and social assistance, education and training are among the industry sectors which will experience strong jobs growth with professional, scientific and technical services joining that list in the longer term.
The 2014 plan was developed through feedback from more than 300 businesses, state based industry associations and three extensive regional consultations.
